Spring is a time of transformation, and nowhere is that more evident than in the natural world. Follow the journey of a fuzzy woodland creature as it blazes a trail through the Pitt Lake river systems in British Columbia, searching for a place to call home. Though it may face challenges from birds, muskrats, and even human feet, this caterpillar is determined to reach its destination, where it will eventually undergo the miraculous process of metamorphosis and emerge as a beautiful butterfly. #lovebc

Apple’s 2x optical lens also achieved great compression with the background mountains and lake. The distant mountain range proudly matches the fuzzy shape of the caterpillar nicely.
