Parking stylus

Campaign: Grind with Tommy Lee
Role:
Art Director

Underground Sound was a one night event held in Edmonton City Centre’s (the city’s most urban shopping centre) underground parking garage with guest Tommy Lee and feature DJs Aero, Steve Aoki and Nestor Delano spinning. Prior to the event, oversized record-player stylus needles were created and installed in downtown parking garages on the ‘enter’ and ‘exit’ arms to promote Underground Sound to the targeted downtown crowd. The objective was to sell out the event with 1,300 tickets available. In the end, Underground Sound was oversold and saw Tommy Lee swinging from the parking garage pipes.

Guerrilla marketing: Parking arm transformed into a turntable stylus for Underground Sound, a sold-out Edmonton event featuring Tommy Lee, Aero, Steve Aoki, and Nestor Delano in a downtown parking garage.
