MADD Grad

Campaign: Don’t make it a grad to forget.

Agency: Calder | Bateman
Role:
Art Director

We were honored to collaborate with MADD's Edmonton Chapter on this powerful campaign. Our goal was to create a thought-provoking image that would resonate with high school students and encourage them to make responsible choices when it comes to alcohol. We hung the ad in school hallways just before graduation, and it was also featured online and in the entertainment sections of popular newspapers promoting concert events. The response to this campaign was overwhelmingly positive, and we were so proud to be able to contribute to MADD's important mission of promoting safety and preventing drunk driving.

Our ad was widely recognized within the advertising industry, garnering attention from prominent sources such as AdAge and other notable outlets. Even years later, it continues to be a popular choice on Pinterest, where it is frequently "favorited" by users. This enduring popularity is a testament to the strength and impact of the creative concept behind the ad. We are grateful for the recognition and are proud to have contributed to such a memorable and effective campaign.
