Lavatory Accidents

Campaign: Lavatory Accidents

Agency: Calder Bateman
Role:
Concept + Art Director

Lavatory Accidents was a pro bono campaign designed to raise awareness through impactful, guerrilla-style messaging. Our concept involved physically crashing posters into urinals, hand dryers, and soap dispensers, transforming them into striking 3D wrecks that couldn’t be ignored. Bar and restaurant managers embraced the idea, and with the help of MADD volunteers, we brought the campaign to life in washrooms across the city.

The simplicity and clarity of the concept made this one of my all-time favorite campaigns. Its effectiveness was recognized with multiple awards, including Best of Show, Poster Series, Newspaper Single, Public Service Print, Guerrilla Marketing, and Out-of-Home Marketing.
